Our August 3rd Friday Night Art Show was a blast!
The weather was sultry, the music was smooth, and a host of artists showcased their wares to the delight of our evening attendees.
We featured work from nearly 20 artists and craftspeople, covering a broad range of engaging media.
Elegant photography, lush oil paintings, and ground-breaking acrylic work mingled with edgy assemblages, dramatic abstracts, pop portraits and metaphysical mystery as visitors strolled our historic halls and enjoyed the evening’s offerings.
Our artists included Robert Redus (dramatic, energetic original acrylic / mixed media work), Melissa (pastels), Caitlin Padilla (pen & ink, graphite, paintings), Barbara Besser (spiritual mixed media work), Rhonda Bodewaldt (mixed media), Paula Manning-Lewis (watercolor, acrylic mixed media), Stephen Stone (acrylics), Ren Adams (Chinese brush painting, pop mixed media), Misty Brown (mixed media acrylics), and many others.

We also housed fine 3D art and jewelry by some of Albuquerque’s finest crafters and fashionistas.
Fun and functional polymer clay work by Annie Hooten, expertly crafted purses & bags by Robyn Vines-Smith, and unique, traditional woven wheat decor mingled with found object, resin, and silver jewelry by Robert Redus, 3D assemblages, and even hand-bound poetry anthologies from a wide range of talented artists.
Our next Friday Night Art event happens on September 7th, 2007, from 6 - 11 p.m. (ahhh… summer nights). Be sure to come down to the factory and enjoy the arts with like-minded folks! It’s also a great place to shop.
