First Friday “Art on the Edge” at the Factory is always an artsy blast.
Our 9/7 evening escapade featured a range of amazing artists, the debut of our South gallery and studio, lots of new faces, and a mysterious, sparkling purple cake. We also welcomed a number of new artists, new visitors, and art-loving regulars who sipped wine under the main floor’s arched ceiling, enjoying the shift from summer to fall.
Work ranged from intriguing, large-scale aluminum sculptures (infused with the written word), energetic and reflective monotype prints, and striking photography to ground-breaking collage paintings, visionary watercolors, and offbeat jewelry.
By nightfall, the show floor was filled with artists, collectors, and friends of the factory, all enjoying the evening’s entertainment.
