About Us

The Factory on 5th is a creative artist workspace located in the historic Wells Park neighborhood, downtown Albuquerque.

We’re home to a wide range of active, creative minds with diverse artistic backgrounds. Our residing artists work in a variety of mediums, covering everything from metal smithing, jewelry fabrication, and watercolor to acrylic, mixed media, ceramics, glass, oils, graphic design, pastels (and everything in between).

We also have a broad base of factory friends who regularly participate in our ongoing events and exhibits. They are a diverse, talented group promote and support the arts as an important community foundation.

We regularly host events, shows, classes, and art openings (see our schedule for a complete list). There’s something for everyone down at the Factory!

Ongoing events:

Late Night “Art on the Edge” (on the First Friday of every month).
An ongoing, late-night show that features work from a variety of artists and craftspeople. Enjoy refreshments, live entertainment, and art!
