First Friday “Art on the Edge” at the Factory is always an artsy blast.
Our 9/7 evening escapade featured a range of amazing artists, the debut of our South gallery and studio, lots of new faces, and a mysterious, sparkling purple cake. We also welcomed a number of new artists, new visitors, and art-loving regulars who sipped wine under the main floor’s arched ceiling, enjoying the shift from summer to fall.
Work ranged from intriguing, large-scale aluminum sculptures (infused with the written word), energetic and reflective monotype prints, and striking photography to ground-breaking collage paintings, visionary watercolors, and offbeat jewelry.
By nightfall, the show floor was filled with artists, collectors, and friends of the factory, all enjoying the evening’s entertainment.
We proudly showcased work by:
Robert Redus - Mixed Media & Acrylics
Karla Leaphart - Oil and Collage on canvas
Veronica Rodriguez - Contemporary Mixed Media
Ren Adams - Chinese Brush Painting/ Mixed Media
Jerome Jim - Photography
William Lanmon - Visionary Watercolor
Mandy Cedeno - Photography (nature)
Barbara Besser - Visionary Mixed Media/Spiritual Protraits
Rhonda Bodewaldt - Mixed Media
Annie Hooten - Polymer Clay, Jewelry
